Emily is starting to get used to the idea that she’s a witch. She spent all Summer practicing her self-control, and she’s finally confident that her magic won’t get away from her every time she becomes emotional.

At school, Emily meets a Sophomore who’s always alone and takes it upon herself to draw the girl out of her shell. Valentina is closed off and distant, but Emily knows what it means to be an outcast, and she’s sure she can help. Valentina is also a witch, and it’s good to have a friend who knows what she’s going through.

In the meantime, the local witch coven seeks Emily out and asks her to join. At first, Emily is unsure. She accepted who she was, but she’s not that ready to be a witch. Valentina is the only one that supports her decision not to join, and Emily is happy with her choice.

Until things start to go wrong around town. Something is ripping through the witches’ cloak that hides the magic from the tourists. Emily is starting to lose control again, and there isn’t anyone else that can help her.

The coven might be exactly what Emily needs.

When she decides to join them, she realizes they’re not as scary as she thought they would be and she meets Calder, a cute boy who peaks her interest and shows her the beauty of her magic.

But the danger is far from over. Around town, matters only get worse, and Emily can’t seem to find a balance with her magic. What’s worse, the coven bans her from seeing Valentina.

It doesn’t take long to realize that Valentina might be the reason everything is going wrong. But by that time, Emily hurt Chloe, she can’t turn to the coven, and shy Valentina turns out to be the Wicked Witch, taking over and turning Emily’s power into nothing more than a candle in the wind.

Emily needs to dig deep to find the truth in who she is to make everything right again. But will she be able to turn back on the lonely path she’s chosen?

This might be the perfect example of too little, too late.

My Review:

Emily thought she had her fire powers under control but things are starting to fall apart for her and if she doesn’t get her powers back in control then she is going to do something that she will regret for the rest of her life like hurt one of her mom or maybe even one of her friends.

After her an accident she has with her fire powers Emily’s mom wants her to join the local coven but Emily is not ready to have her life controlled like that. But eventually she gives in to her mom and goes for a visit with the coven to check things out. While she is visiting the coven Emily meets this hot dude, Calder who helps train Emily to control her fire.

In The Teen Witch: Inferno Emily meets a new friend Valentina. Emily tells Chloe and Reece about meeting Valentina and explains that she wants all of them to hang out together but Chloe and Reece do not want to hang out with Valentina and be her friend. Emily’s friendship with Valentina puts a stain on Emily and Chloe’s friendship.

Her powers are starting to spiral out of control. If she doesn’t get them under control it could put the whole town in peril. Emily is beginning to wonder if Valentina is the person she believed her to be and she is starting to wonder if she is not behind what is happening to all the magic.

The Teen Witch: Inferno has some secrets of its own which it doesn’t give up easily. It is filled with lots of magic and wonderful characters that will take you on a whirlwind of ride. The story flows along so well that it had me so engrossed that I totally forgot that there was a world going on around me I could see each and every scene playing out in my head like a movie. The Teen Witch: Inferno would definitely make for a great movie.

I would absolutely recommend The Teen Witch: Inferno to anyone who loves the paranormal world that is filled with more than one kind of paranormal person. And if you like shows like Sabrina the Teenage Witch or Charmed then this the story for you.

When you fit in, all you want is to be unique, to stand out. But when you’re a freak? All you want is to fit in.

Emily had an accident. She set the Science lab on fire her last high school... With her bare hands.

Now, she’s an outcast, labeled a freak, and her friends want nothing to do with her. All she wants is the burning sensation in her hands and the fire of humiliation to go away.

When things don’t get better, Emily’s mom moves them to Safety Beach, a small town on the Virginian coastline that no one’s ever heard of before. There, she meets Chloe and Reece and a couple of other people who are all so weird she can’t help but fit in.

Until things start going wrong again. Maggie, her mom’s best friend, is kidnapped and Emily is the only one that saw it. Not only that, but she had power in her hands the same way Emily does.

Emily loses control of her flames again, and she wants this to end, once and for all.

Emily is set on finding Maggie. She needs answers, she needs help. She needs the order of things to be restored.

When she goes on the hunt to find the one woman that might know why she is the way she is, she starts finding a lot of answers she wasn’t bargaining for. Like, that she’s not the only person that possesses some kind of magic. That nothing in the little town is what it seems.

That she might not be the weirdest or the most dangerous creature in Safety Beach, after all.

My Review:

Emily and her mom have just moved to Safety Beach hoping for a fresh new start and find a few new friends. At her last school Emily caught the science lab on fire and she did it with her bare hands. After the fire Emily’s life was never the same. She lost all her friends as everyone thought she was some kind of freak now.

Emily has no idea what she did or how she did it. All she knows is that she doesn’t want it to happen again. She could never forgive herself if she hurt or killed someone. She is hoping that she will fit right with everyone in Safety Beach as just about everyone there are weird or different themselves.

When she witnesses a kidnapping and no one believes her not even the police Emily decides to take matters into her own hands and starts an investigation of her own with the help of her new friends Chole and Reece.

Doing her snooping around Emily finds out that this little town of Safety Beach has a lot of secrets or at least the people living there do. Emily starts to not only learn what she is but that she is not the only one nor is she the only paranormal creature.

I like reading about witches and when I found this little gem sitting on my bookshelves after joining Laura Marie’s ARC Team by agreeing to review The Teen Witch: Inferno I had read it as is the prequel novel in The Teen Witch Chronicles and I am so glad I decided to read The Teen Witch: Rebirth first.

The Teen Witch: Rebirth is a great introduction into the world of The Teen Witch Chronicles. It has lots of secrets which it likes to hold onto keeping coming you back for more. I can’t wait to dive into The Teen Witch: Inferno and see what secrets it holds amongst its pages.

If you like shows like Charmed or Sabrina the Teenage Witch then you will love The Teen Witch: Rebirth.
