He’s savage.
He’s sinful.
He’s everything I told myself I didn’t need.

But for just one night, I’ll give in to temptation.
I’ll forget he’s a shapeshifter and that I’m not.
I’ll forget the Pack would never approve.

Because after tonight I’m moving.
Our paths won’t cross again.
Only that one night gives me more than I bargain for and nine months later I deliver a bundle of joy complete with ten tiny fingers and ten perfect toes.

A year and a half later, I’m back.
But this wolf is no longer the shifter of my dreams.
Now he haunts my nightmares.
And what is he going to think when he learns he has a son, one who isn’t a just a wolf?

EXCERPT:

Jordy’s stare burns through me as he takes a step forward until we’re little more than an inch away from one another. His hand comes up to wrap around the column of my throat, his hold possessive. He runs his thumb over my jaw and slowly over my bottom lip. I stay still the entire time, waiting to see what this beautiful boy will do when his anger rides him like this. When his wolf’s eyes illuminate his gaze.

“You and C├ęsar are mine.”

I quirk a brow.

His teeth scrape over his bottom lip, his canines seemingly larger than normal. “Say it.”

“Say what?”

His grip tightens just enough to be a warning. “You’re mine.”

My Review:

A teenage girl, Jo, and her best friend KeAnna go to a party one summer night before their junior year. Jo meets a very hot dude at this party and is drawn to him like a magnet. One thing leads to another and Jo walks away with a baby in the oven. Jo figured that she would never see him again as she was moving away the next day never to be seen again.

A year and a half later Jo is at school and who do you think she runs into none other but the father of her baby. Jo knows the right thing to do is to tell him that he has a baby but she is afraid. With Jordy being a wolf she is afraid that he will take her baby away. Jo has been hiding the fact that she has a baby from everyone at school as she is afraid of what they would say as teenagers can be so cruel.

Jo thinks that it would be a better idea to get to know Jordy before just handing her baby over to someone she doesn’t even know. I respected Jo for waiting to tell Jordy as she was protecting her baby. For all, she knew he could have been a murderer or who knows what. I know Jordy had the right to know that he had a son but a mother’s first priority is to make sure her child is safe, right?

Savage Wolves and Dangerous Deals is a very sweet and charming read that drew me in from the first page. The chemistry between Jo and Jordy was very hot, their time together could be ever so steamy. I can’t wait to read more from the Blood and Magic: Hellbound series. I just love the Blood and Magic world with all the different paranormal and magical creatures.

I love this world so much that I highly recommend that you pick up a copy of Savage Wolves and Dangerous Deals today for another epic adventure in this amazing world of magic and shifters. I would also like to suggest that you check out all of Danielle Annett’s books.
