My Review:
Bloodshifted is the fifth and last book in the Edie Spence series by Cassie Alexander. I am sad to see it end. I fell in love with Edie Spence with the first book Nightshifted. Each and every book is unique in its own way with so much to offer. I truly loved reading each and every book in the Edie Spence series and would truly love to have read more.
I love the world that was created for the Edie Spence series. I dived head-first into each of the books in this series and didn’t come up for air until the last page was read. The Edie Spence series is one that you want to read over and over again for years to come.
The world-building for this one was awesome, to say the least. The descriptions were so vivid I felt as if I was a part of its world as if I was a character in the story. I could feel all of Edie’s feelings as she dealt with all the things that she had to endure and make life decisions.
Edie was a nurse no matter if she was working in a hospital or not. Edie had to always help people no matter the cost to herself it is what she was made to do. Edie always wanted to do what was right for humans or vampires. That is just the way her heart is made.
Bloodshifted picks up where Deadshifted left off. Edie has been captured by the vampires and taken aboard a cruise ship. Edie is taken to live underground with the vampires underneath a nightclub. Edie is biding her time until the day she can escape the vampires. Edie is doing everything possible to make her escape possible.
Edie is Pregnant. Edie has been fed on by a vampire and now she is a daytimer. Being a daytimer means she is being controlled by the vampire that made her a daytimer. Edie will do whatever it takes to protect her baby. And if being with the vampires until her baby is born then so be it.
