My Review:
A Magical's Gift is the fifth book in The Magicals Series. A Magical's Gift is Niall Warde and Amelie Ricard’s story. When Niall and Amelie meet it is love at first sight. They are instantly drawn to each other as if they were a magnet.
Amelie asks Niall if he would like to meet her mother. She was a little hesitant because they have not known each other long and because of her mother and how she is and she was probably afraid that Niall would think she was going a little too fast with their relationship.
When Amelie asked Niall to meet her mother she thought that he might ask her to meet his father but unfortunately, he did not. She had this gut feeling that Niall was hiding something but what she couldn’t quite put her finger on.
Amelie was real nervous about her mother meeting Niall. She was afraid of her reaction. But I do think that her mother took it a little better than Amelie thought she would or maybe she was just pretending, biding her time until she could reveal her secret.
Their world is turned upside down when Amelie learns that she is pregnant with Niall’s baby. She was so afraid of what her mother would say and react. When Amelie told her mother she learned a few things about her mother and herself that she did not know or even believed to be true.
When Amelie learns that her baby’s life is in danger from the fairies and her own mother she leaves town. She leaves the baby with his father, Niall to raise as she believes that he will be safer with him. Little does she know that when Niall can’t find her he leaves town as well never knowing that he was a father.
A Magical's Gift is a fast-paced read that had me flipping the pages as fast as I could racing to the end to see how Niall, Amelie, and Kurtis’s life would turn out. And all the magic in between kept me flipping those pages as well. Amelie and Niall had me drawn in a tight ball wondering if their lives would ever interconnect again.
The world-building was so entrancing it had me in its clutch from beginning to end. The descriptions were brilliantly written to say the least. I was spellbound the moment I opened A Magical's Gift. I was so mesmerized that there was no way I could lay it down until I had read the last word.
I fell in love with The Magicals Series with the first book A Vampire's Tale and that attraction has not left me yet. I have loved each and every character’s story in each book. I am now anxiously awaiting the next book from The Magicals Series world.
