My Review:
Alice falls down the rabbit hole and into Jinxland where she
meets all different kinds of characters some of which spins her a whole heap of
tales. Alice has no idea who she can trust in this strange new land. Everyone
wants a price for any help given.
Alice is captured by the Queen of Hearts who has a mission
for Alice and if she fails her mission then the Queen will have her head
removed from her body literally. The Queen makes Alice a deal to help save her
friends. Will Alice take the deal the Queen offers? Can Alice find her way back
home? Can she save her friends?
Jinxland is a magically engrossing read that had my
attention from the first page and never let up. I love this magical world in
Jinxland and all its wonderful characters. When I was reading Alice in Jinxland
I could see it playing out in my head like a movie. I love Cherie’s writing
style as it makes me feel as if I am right there with the characters and experiencing
whatever it is they are experiencing.
I recommend Alice in
Jinxland to all fans of fairy tales, magic, witches, vampires, werewolves set

ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
It all started with an old fashioned typewriter. When my
family brought it home, I knew what I wanted to do. All those stories rolling
around in my head could finally get out. The press and click of the keys were
satisfying in their own right, but when I pulled out a finished page, I knew
this was for me. Since then, I’ve graduated to a laptop, but the stories still
find a way out.
I’m a breast cancer survivor, a teacher, a wife, a mother,
and from the very beginning—a storyteller. Always a hint humorous and honest to
a fault, I love to make people laugh, smile, and have “a-ha” moments. My goal
in life is to achieve tact and stop procrastinating. The battle wages on.
