Excerpt:
The pair approached the tree, and Sawyer repeated the process of communing with the plant. But as he reached up and cut one of the thin branches, some of the snow from the nearby branches shook off and fell onto Eeva’s head.
“Oh! That’s cold,” Eeva complained, wiggling to get the snow off her.
Sawyer laughed at the sight. “Well, why did you stand under where I was cutting then? You deserve it,” he teased.
“I deserve it, eh?” Eeva asked, grinning. She placed the basket on the ground and gathered a handful of snow. “Then, I guess you deserve this!” She threw the snow into his face.
“Oh, it’s on now,” he said, shaking his head, trying to get the snow out from the inside of his scarf.
Eeva laughed and threw another snowball.
The battle raged on. They each got some good shots in. Eeva had surprisingly good aim for someone who couldn’t see well. But Sawyer made sure to make some noise to indicate his position. It wouldn’t be fair otherwise.
They ran up and down the path, laughter and squeals dampened by the surrounding trees. Finally, they lay on their backs beside each other on the ground, breathless and covered in snow.
“Truce?” Sawyer asked, turning his head toward her.
She turned her head and met his eyes. She sat up, gathered a giant pile of snow between her hands, and dumped it right onto his face.
“Yeah,” she giggled. “Truce.” She collapsed back down beside him.

What was the hardest scene from your book to write?
The hardest scene for me to write of A Very Witchy Yuletide was *ahem* Sawyer’s masturbation scene. I felt like I was intruding on his personal moment. Haha. I laugh at myself because the sex scenes weren’t difficult at all.
Why did you choose to write in your particular field or genre?
This book is a little bit out of my normal genre as a contemporary romance. I usually write fantasy. But I wanted to write a Pagan holiday romance. I wanted all the holiday romance troupes and all the things I love about the real celebrations of Yule. So, I had to step outside my usual lane. It was fun!
If you write in more than one genre, how do you balance them?
Very carefully. Hehe. Since I only ever actively write one story at a time, it isn’t too hard to stay on track. Contemporary romance was particularly easy because I didn’t have to remember any special laws of physics or magic. Just real people in the real world. But I like to genre hop. It keeps things interesting and new.
What did you enjoy most about writing this book?
The warm fuzzies. I love a good holiday romance. And since it was a Pagan holiday rather than the much more common Christian holidays, I was really able to let go and indulge.
What book that you have read has most influenced your life?
Oh gosh, that is a tough one. Every book I read has some impact one way or another. But most influenced? My mom had me read The Way of the Peaceful Warrior by Dan Millman when I was thirteen. That book taught me a lot about being adaptable and enjoying the moment. But the book I probably reference the most is 1984…Ask me tomorrow, and I will probably have a different answer for you.
Tell us a little about yourself? Perhaps something not many people know?
Something not many people know? Hmmm. I pride myself on my self-awareness. I sometimes spend days self-reflecting. I also pride myself on being a good friend, the one you can always depend on, the one you call at three in the morning when you have no one else. I don’t like to think that any of my friends would ever feel lonely.
Can you tell us something about your book that is not in the summary?
Oho! Trying to get a little inside scoop, huh? Okay. Evergreen’s cat, Muir, is naughty and gets into all sorts of trouble in the book.
My Review:
Evergreen Pendre and Sawyer Collins have been in love since high school but never revealed this fact to each other or anyone else. Now four and a half years later they have another chance at love, and a chance to find one another each other.
Evergreen’s mother has invited the old bunch from high school over this year for the Yuletide celebration. Evergreen or Eeva as everyone calls her had made plans to spend the holiday at school this new until she talked to her mother. She didn’t want to disappoint her mother after all the trouble she was going through to make this holiday a happy one.
A Very witchy Yuletide is a fun, happy, sweet, warm. Cozy read. I loved getting to know all the characters and to spend their holiday with them to learn how pagans celebrate their holiday. Pagan’s are believed to be like witches but not the magical kind like on Bewitched. Pagan magick is a spiritual practice. Pagan is a religion like Christianity.
Sawyer is a wonderful, kind, sweet person. He is the kind of man every woman dreams of. And then there is sweet cute Sol who would turn anyone's head and sure to put a smile on your face. And then there was Niko who seemed kind of dreamy until he opened his mouth that is.
