No one who had met Michaela Beauchamp could come away from it unscathed. She was a shrew–argumentative, crass, and the focus of all my wet dreams. I loved to hate her. We were at war and I was determined to win. I didn’t want her to just go away, I wanted to watch her fine ass as she went in that direction.MICHAELA
Whoever thought Gabriel Langdon was more than a pretty face never met the douchecanoe.
He had very few redeeming qualities. He was dumb, frustrating, and constantly featuring in all my sexiest dreams. I wasn’t difficult to please. I was reasonable. All I asked was that the Universe bless me with the absence of this jackhole!THEA
What is one to do when you summon a hitchhiker and they take up residence inside your head? No fifteen-year-old girl has a good answer. With my brother and neighbor circling one another in a strange mating dance, I barely know how to ask for help.I mean really, all I did was a little spell to Invoke Helpful Spirits and Positive Energy Beings.
Note: THE DREAM KEEPERS is a mature Young Adult/New Adult book and for readers over the age of 18 due to sexual content and profanity. This is part one of a trilogy and ends on a CLIFFHANGER.

Interview with Ali Lucia Sky
What made you want to become a writer?
Thanks for inviting me to do an interview with you, Nancy. I appreciate you being part of my book tour.
I never really thought of this before. I think being a reader made me want to be a writer. I skipped kindergarten and wasn’t a great reader in first grade. My grandma got me all the Dr. Seuss books and she, my mom and uncle would spend hours at night teaching me how to read. By second grade, I was telling and writing my own stories. I think reading flipped that switch for me.
What inspired you to write The Dream Keepers?
A lot of my inspiration comes from dreams. I’m a lucid dreamer and remember most of what I dream and I can steer my dreams, so that if I wake up from one I can sink back into it again. The Dream Keepers was inspired by a dream I had about two characters named Jett and Min. I wrote that story and some others and next thing you know… I had The Dream Keepers.
Can you tell us a little bit about the characters in The Dream Keepers?
The book begins with Thea, a teenager who has experienced the worst of friendships gone sideways. She’s looking for something to turn things around for her and dabbles in some witchcraft to get it. Thea’s searching for something.
Gabe and Michaela are the two love interests in The Dream Keepers. They loathe one another at first and it’s something that results in ugly spats and dirty talk. Michaela is fantastic at spats. Gabe is great at dirty talk. Together they are magick.
You know I think we all have a favorite author. Who is your favorite author and why?
I read easily five books a week and each time I come across gold, I buy everything on their bookshelf. It’s so hard for me to be like this is my penultimate. I do buy everything Jaymin Eve, Lizzy Bequin, Lexi C. Foss, Jennifer L. Armentrout, and Cassandra Clare release.
Can you tell us a little bit about your next books or what you have planned for the future?
I’m working on book two of The Powers That Be series, Wishcraft. I have a bunch of books written that need some love and after this series is complete, I’ll either work on a dystopian story I wrote a few years ago or a YA/NA romance that is dear to my heart and may be a good palate cleanser.
What did you enjoy most about writing this book?
Michaela and Gwen were my favorite characters to write. They basically write themselves. I enjoyed the back and forth between Michaela and Gabe too. It was a lot of fun to write. More than anything, I think the editing process was the best part. That makes me sound like a masochist, but it was the challenge of banging out the dents and keeping to the heart of the story, without losing the characters' individuality.
Thanks for giving me the chance to tell you a little about The Dream Keepers. It’s been fun. Good luck with The Avid Reader.
You are welcome any time. I am glad you could join us today! Thank you!
