Blurb:
When Guardian Angel, Evangeline, fell in love with her human
charge, Liam, she never expected it to come with such a high price. She was
perfectly fine watching his life from a distance, but when Liam prays for
guidance and he can suddenly hear her, Evangeline can’t help but confess her
love.
However, there are laws in place—laws strictly separating
the affections of humans and angels—and Evangeline knows it. If the Guild found
out about her love, she could be sent to Purgatory—or worse.
Unfortunately for them both, Liam’s prayer opened him up to
more than just hearing Evangeline. All the demons in the known universe come
calling to answer his prayer and one of them overheard Evangeline’s confession.
Unless she can stop the demon from turning them into the Guild, it will mean
the end of everything.
This title is Carissa
Andrews' submission into the epic forbidden love anthology: Playing with Fire
My Review:
Evangeline a Guardian Angel has fallen in love with her
human charger Liam. When she hears Liam calling out in prayer she races to his
side. Evangeline is not the only one who heard his pray. When Liam started
praying every demon in the universe heard him too and shows up on his door step.
Can Evangeline save Liam from all the demons?
Love is a Merciless God is a beautiful love story, a forbidden
love story. It is forbidden for Guardian Angels to love their human charges. Love
is a Merciless God is a beautifully written story of one Guardian Angel and how
big her heart really is and how far she would go to put someone else’s life
before her own.
I highly recommend Love is a Merciless God to one and all.

Thank you so much for your review! I am absolutely thrilled you liked Love is a Merciless God! This one is one of my favorites, so far... Of course, it's hard to pick a total favorite, because books are like your kids! HA! At any rate, I appreciate you taking the time to read it and review, Nancy! You are amazing!
