Book Blast + Review + #Giveaway: The Sinister Superyacht by Ana T. Drew @GoddessFish

This post is part of a virtual book tour organized by Goddess Fish Promotions. Ana T. Drew will award a $20 Amazon/BN GC to a randomly drawn winner. Click on the tour banner to see the other stops on the tour.

French tycoon Jean-Louis Ponsard is having a bad year.
Unwise investments, canceled orders, deals falling through…
In the thick of it, his yacht becomes the scene of a suspicious death, and his year of misfortune hits the bed of the Mediterranean Sea.
To make matters worse, the victim isn't just anybody.
She's his much-hated mother-in-law.

Onboard, caterer Julie Cavallo and her quirky grandma Rose do some poking around.
But every luxury cabin hides a secret.
Every passenger has an alibi or no reason to want the victim dead.
Discretion rules.
The crew keeps mum.
So do the marble countertops, gem-incrusted walls, and gold sinks.
When the cops take charge, things go to pieces, and not only for the Ponsard family.

Can Julie dive to the murky bottom of the sea, unravel the case, and come back up still breathing?

The Killer Karma

Julie Cavallo Investigates #2

by Ana T. Drew

My Review:

Our favorite pastry chef/amateur sleuth Julie Cavallo is back once again finding herself right in the middle of another murder. This time around her sous chef Eric has become a murder suspect. The person he is accused of killing is his ex-con father. Julie and Eric have been friends for a long time. They have even worked together to solve a crime. Julie doesn’t believe Eric killed his father and sets out to prove his innocence.

The Killer Karma is a fast-paced cozy little murder mystery. Once I picked it up I was hooked with all the mystery and suspense that took me in all different directions as I tried to figure out whodunit. I enjoyed trying to figure out all the clues and where they were going to lead Julie next.

The Killer Karma kept me on the edge of my seat as I raced through the book wondering if Julie was going to be able to help her friend Eric. If she was going to prove her friend innocent or guilty as each clue was revealed. I can’t wait for the next book in the Julie Cavallo Investigates series.

I highly recommend The Killer Karma to anyone interested in a cozy murder mystery with plenty of suspense to keep you guessing from beginning to end. One-click your copy of The Killer Karma today to solve this mystery and find out whodunit!
